If I ever…. just slap me

If I ever suddenly decided I need to open my own cake shop…just slap me.

Look at this lousy decoration job. I really stink at that part. The cake tasted wonderful but the lettering….. just don’t look too long. It may depress you also. In addition, I originally put five candles on the cake and jeff asked me who the Hayden was that was turning five because his son was only 4.

ANYWAY……

we had a birthday yesterday but we celebrated it last friday. Hayden is now officially 4 years old!

He was most excited about those candles.

He was ready to eat that cake. He was insisting on chocolate cake. So he got chocolate cake with chocolate frosting– homemade by me and Hayden of course.

Then we opened presents—

I would like to say that opening presents took a while but he ripped those puppies open in about 3 seconds flat. I could only get one shot off.

He got some games and a bat cave, some pajamas and coloring books.

Then we took all this friends over to the jumping party. They have open jump nights during the week and it is cheeper than having an official “party” there. So we invited over a few friends and had hamburgers, hot dogs, and cake. Then we headed over to jumping party for a few hours of jumping on/in bounce houses!

What more could a 4 year old ask for.

Except maybe his mom to take more pictures.
