the monkey, the injured and the cowboy
March 27th, 2008

The monkey. He is spying on the kids next door. They got a new trampoline. He really really really would like to go over there and jump on it.

But mean ole mom won’t let him. So he climbs the fence and tries to look at what they are doing. Unfortunately, he can not get down. That why mom is snapping a picture at the poor soul.

The injured. Jeff bought a new ladder. Hayden, the little stinker, was playing on it and cut his finger. Not deep, very superficial, but it did take off the top layer of skin all the way down it. It bleed only for a short time (had it been deeper he would have needed stitches yet again this year) and he was whining something fierce. So I wet this rag and wrapped his finger and hand in it.

This photo is actually taken the second day. He walked around for two days with his hand wrapped up like this (and holding it like this also) He slept with it all night. He would not let it go. It was not a bad cut at all. He just could not let it go for some reason. I wish he would have felt this way when he cut his finger with a knife and he actually did need stitches. I couldn’t keep anything on his hand blood was going everywhere.
Finally, the cowboy.

It was cowboy day at school and all of the kids could dress up. I found the cowboy hat and belt buckle at walmart and we already had the bandana. What a cutie pie. Pajama day is coming up soon. I wish I had my camera when I dropped him off because one little boy had chaps and all on. Landon was disappointed that I could not find cowboy boots and chaps but I just did not have time to look around enough. So, no boots or chaps.
Next year I will be more prepared.
